We offer tailored newborn care classes based on the latest pediatric recommendations to provide parents with peace of mind as they enter parenthood. Information is presented as a fun course experience in the comfort of a client’s own home and at a time of their choosing! No more trying to squeeze a pre-set class into your busy schedule or being limited to a generic online course.
Along with our classes, The Sweet Arrival is dedicated to decreasing stress for parents through our concierge services. We believe that the time preparing for a baby’s arrival should be enjoyed, not researching photographers or vendors for a party! We hope that we can serve you and your family during this exciting time!
meet paula
Paula is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), board-certified as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP-PC), with over 17 years of experience caring for children.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach, a Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University, and a PhD in Nursing Science from University of California, Irvine.
Her experience includes caring for pediatric patients in the in-patient and outpatient settings, as well as conducting research in pediatric populations. Paula has worked throughout the country, as well as abroad on half a dozen international medical trips.
Her parenting philosophy is that there is no perfect parenting method one must follow, but there are expert recommendations that can provide guidance on the parenting journey. It is her passion to empower parents with knowledge, and work with them to identify what works for their families.
Paula lives with her husband and children in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area.
